Very little is publicly known about Mikhail's life in specific prior to his enlistment as a Temple Knight squire at the age of sixteen. It can be assumed that, in accordance with House Allaire's well-known hunting prowess, that he was taught marksmanship from a young age, and he is noted for his skill with the bow and rifle both.Of course, the general happenings of the house are known - that his father was killed in combat on the same day as his birth, that his elder brother was slain by bandits when he was around the age of ten. There are also the whispered rumours of how his mother, driven mad by grief and blaming the younger son for the death of the eldest, began to treat him with unspeakable cruelty for the crime of not being his brother. Some claims state that the Lady Marianne refused to even use Mikhail's name - referring to and addressing him only as 'boy', and on occasion, calling him by the name of his late elder brother.Following the death of his brother, he was known to be a rather angry and rude child - a sudden change, it is claimed, from the kind and soft-hearted boy he had been before. The loss of his brother, who he had viewed as a father figure, affected him deeply - Jaquin's passing almost martyred him in Mikhail's mind, and he would often lash out in defence of his late brother's honour. At age sixteen, he would become a Temple Knight squire, and would often state that his reason for doing so was a desire to make his brother proud. This anger that had become characteristic of him was often expressed towards his peers, believed to stem from envy towards those with unbroken, loving families. He was knighted as Ser Mikhail 'The Stag' at around the age of twenty.Ever wanting to push upwards, desperately seeking his mother's approval, Mikhail would become an inquisitor at around the age of twenty-three. While precious little is known about his time serving the Inquisition, it is said that he was far too soft for his work, and was often reprimanded for his hesitance to enact the Fury's will. He exited the Inquisition at the age of twenty-nine, and his mother would pass away from illness shortly thereafter, leaving him as the Head of House. This passing was sudden enough to spawn rumours about the circumstances of Lady Marianne's death, many accusing her only surviving son of matricide - though these are simply rumours, and should not be regarded as fact. These rumours plagued him enough that he would exit the public eye for multiple years, only re-entering it somewhat recently with the advent of the House of Lords and House of Commons respectively.At current, Mikhail holds a seat on the House of Lords, and spends most of his days between his estate and the city proper. While a somewhat ineffective politician, owing largely to his inaction and soft-spokenness, he does his best to champion the cause of the people - speaking in favour of easing the plight of the common man.
